A Work of Heart Counseling—  a boutique behavioral health private practice based in Bergen County NJ— maintains an going hiring process looking for part-time and/or full-time psychotherapists to join our group practice as well as graduate student interns. We are only looking for therapists willing to provide services both in-person and via telehealth, with sessions primarily held in person for children/teens.  We are an affirming practice serving individuals, couples, and families, from pre-school through adulthood with specializations in anxiety/OCD, trauma, mood disorders, children/adolescents and perinatal mental health.

Required Qualifications: 

Master’s degree (required): Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or similar degree.

AND/OR:

Doctorate: PhD or PsyD in Clinical, Counseling, Educational, or School Psychology, Marriage and Family, or Social Work.

• Must be license-eligible based on your degree program (LAC/LSW/LPC/LCSW/PhD/PsyD) ***Supervision for provisionally licensed candidates is available***

Requirements: 

Able to work in-office and hybrid (as appropriate based on cases) at our Oradell and/or Allendale NJ offices.

Part-time: (afternoons/evenings required for child therapists, weekend options available at both locations). Minimum 8-10 therapy clients/week.

Special consideration will be given to candidates who:

Have experience with children/teens and neurodiverse populations/neuroaffirming approaches.

Hold a specialty training/certification (ex: Gottman trained, EMDR, ERP, I-CBT, TF-CBT and PMH-C)
