Cathy White

Hi, I’m Cathy and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. 

I believe that the therapist-client relationship is what allows for an individual to feel comfortable enough to make real change. 

I will support you in achieving your goals while we work together to overcome anything that might be preventing you from living your best life.  

My work in schools helps me to better understand the issues faced by today’s children, and I’m passionate about helping them navigate through issues while recognizing and celebrating their strengths.

Cathy graduated from New York University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, after completing an undergraduate degree in psychology from SUNY Geneseo.  

She has over 25 years of experience in a variety of school settings, including experience with behavior disorders, 504 plans, and IEPs.  

Cathy is a certified school social worker as well as an approved clinical supervisor in New Jersey, and is currently working as the Student Assistance Counselor for a Bergen County middle school/high school.
